Life Lately #2: Netflix, Diet, and Faith

Happy Sunday, everyone! It's been raining for the past few days and I've been chilling here at home just watching some Netflix movies and YouTube videos. I can't blame myself. I'm too lazy to function lol.

It's now the month of August and it's almost the -ber months! I know life has been stoic recently and it's just this June that we're starting to catch up with life. It will not get any better as soon as we expect it but, hold on there. We'll all get through this. Life definitely throws us some lemons, but when it does, let's make some lemonade, right? Life might be sour for now, but with the right thinking and attitude, we can make it sweeter. Keep it up and keep on doing a great job on seizing the day!

Anyway, with all that being positivity, let's now answer the question...

So what have I been up to lately?

Life Lately #2: Netflix, Diet, and Faith

Loving Your Name and Weathering with You on Netflix. These are Japanese Anime movies that really triggered my emotions. It made me smile and cry at the same time. Overall, I love the storyline.

Holding on to my diet. I love my Egg and Cheese sandwich, and Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal for breakfast. It keeps me full from breakfast until lunch/dinner. I also do intermittent fasting. I eat breakfast at around 8 or 9am. For my snack, I eat carrots with mayo at around 12 or 1pm. Then for my last meal for the day, I eat any viands cooked at home paired with brown rice. This diet keeps me satiated the entire day until the next day! I also drink green tea and apple cider vinegar tea either in the morning or at night.

Appreciating the gift given to me by my friend all the way from Canada. Shout out to you, Kimmi! I love it and I'll definitely use them all. Thank you so much!

Seeing the black and white photos of women all over the internet. These black and white photos with the caption "Challenge Accepted" started as a way for Turkish women to raise their voices on femicide. Every morning, they wake up seeing black and white images of women murdered in the newspaper, or on the news. What's worse is that their government is not doing anything about it. I'm praying for all the victims there in Turkey. And for all the women there, please stay safe!

Keeping my faith intact with The Feast. The Feast will always have a special place in my heart. It helped me vastly with moving on, and it helped me heal from all the hurt that I experienced. I miss the times when I'm still a member of their singles ministry and media team. It brings back memories. Speaking of, I need to attend their live mass and talk. I will now end this week's Life Lately here.

So that's all the highlights about me this week. See you for more Life Lately post! I hope there will be more interesting stuff that I can share with you next week. Have a great day, and always stay safe!
