I'm so excited to share with you my knowledge on how I usually do my base makeup. Don't worry! It is super easy and wearable for everyday make-up. Also, I included a video for you to watch so that you can follow each step while doing your own makeup.

Wait! Before you continue, have you chosen the perfect foundation for you? We will be using foundation in this tutorial so I just want to make sure you are using the right one for your skin. Step-by-step Tutorial (English)

Here are the step-by-step summary of the video in English:
  1. After doing your skincare routine, first, apply your face primer. This will help to cover up pores and protect your skin from makeup.
  2. Using a damp makeup sponge or a foundation brush, apply foundation on your face in dabbing/stippling motion.
  3. Apply concealer on your under-eye circles and blemishes using a brush or sponge.
  4. Using a contour stick, draw a line under your cheekbone, on the nose line, and jaw. Blend with a damp sponge.
  5. Using a gel/liquid blush, apply a little amount on the cheeks and blend with sponge or fingers.
  6. Set with loose/pressed powder.
  7. Apply bronzer using a contour brush under your cheekbone, on the nose line, and jaw.
  8. Apply blush on the apples of your cheeks using a blush brush.
  9. Apply highlights on the highest points of your face (cheekbone, nose bridge, tip of the nose, cupid's bow, chin) using a highlighter brush.
  10. Lastly, set your whole makeup look with a setting spray/beauty mist.
Tips and Tricks

Here are some of the tips and tricks I mentioned in the video. You might miss it so I listed them here for you.
  • If you prefer more coverage, use a foundation brush when applying your foundation. If you prefer a more natural-looking finish, go with the damp sponge. Just wet your sponge before applying your foundation.
  • Use a concealer 1 to 2 shades lighter than your skin tone if you want to hide your under-eye circles. If you are covering blemishes, use a concealer that matches your skin tone.
  • You can skip contouring and the gel/liquid blush.
  • I recommend baking your makeup if you have oily skin. It will help by making your base makeup stay longer. If you have dry skin, you can just use pressed powder. Lightly brush powder after you apply all gel/liquid makeup.
  • Use a fan brush if you want you highlighter to be less concentrated and natural-looking. If you want blinding highlights, you can go with a big blender brush.
  • Setting your makeup with a setting spray/beauty mist can help make your makeup last longer and it will also help on the total finish of your makeup look.
That's basically it! Thank you so much for watching my vlog. I hope you get to learn something from me today! If yes, please share this post, subscribe to my channel or like the video on my Youtube channel. I'm so excited to share something new with you on our Beginner Makeup Series.
